On the 18th of March 2009 the new Marella‘s Spring-Summer 2009 collection was presented. The event took place in the modern commercial spaces of Mercedes Benz‘s authorized retailer M3000 a.s., on Šaldová street, Karlín.
The event was hosted by presenter Adéla Gondíková. The fashion show, choreographed by Lenka Vinická introduced not only new Marella’s models, but also the Lato/B collection, created in cooperation with the renowned Italian ballet company Aterballetto. The Spring-Summer presented collection highlights fashion trends and femininity. Exploits a range of colors and fabrics (from taffeta to cotton, through silk), draws and succesfully combines 50’s and 70’s styles. The Lato/B collection introduces fashion conceptions to versatile women as well as a specific romantic touch – flower patterns, lace and country look. The collection shows feminine as well as men’s cuts. Summer dresses and tops are characterized by hints of pop art and wrinkled fabrics. The Lato/B and Marella collections were performed not only by professional dancers, but also by renowned models as Lucie Hadašová, Hanka Mašlíková, Lilian Sarah Fischerová and more.
